If you ever need a printer cartridge, do NOT, whatever you do, buy from eBay shop ‘DiscountCityRUS’. Run by the outstandingly rude ‘Norman’, their listings are deliberately confusing and, when you have a question, the only reply is ‘read the description’. Well duh, I did that – I’m asking questions because the description of the item you sold me doesn’t explain why you only sent half my order.
‘Norman’ finished by calling me an idiot. Way to treat your customers, Norman.

I absolutely agree, I have dealt with this man twice, the first time I bought from him on eBay and after a lot of emailing he admitted only sending half the order, I vowed never to deal again. The second time was through Amazon. Amazon have really gone down in my estimation. When you buy from a seller rather than Amazon, it doesn’t tell you who they are, and if I had realised it was Norman Maguire, who trades as DiscountCityRUS and Clearances UK, I regretted immediately because I knew there would be a problem. The part he send didn’t fit because it had been wrongly manufactured and he only agreed to refund the money after threatening legal action, and hasn’t refunded my postage back to him. I have also had to remind him that he has received the goods back. I am reporting him to trading standards. He has been rude, abusive and obstructive, and tries to turn it back on you when you complain. Steer well clear from this crook.
Keep avoiding. This business has not improved – I have just had a very bad experience with DiscountCityRUS on Amazon sellers. Norman Maguire is indeed rude and clearly does not care what badwill he creates with customers. Trades as ClearancesUK also.
